A collection of original watercolours from Jim Moir’s recent obsession with the industrial landscape.

Having grown up in the North East of England, these factories, chimneys and smoke-filled skies carry an inevitable echo of the industrial surroundings of Jim’s early life. Whether memory or simply fascination, there’s a sense of something familiar running through the series.

Painted in loose washes, deep blacks and sudden flashes of colour, each is a small and atmospheric study of industry.

Each work is original, signed by Jim Moir and entirely unique.
